Welcome to the bodyshop event and awards evening website. Here you will find out everything you need to know about THE industry event of the year to make sure you're not missing out.

Running from 20 – 21 September, the event promises to combine everything that's good about the crash repair industry: good people, good networking, and good sessions.

Split over an evening and a whole (and very full) day, this year's event comprises a Thursday night which sees the return of the welcome dinner and ice breaker, and a Friday encompassing both be2012 and the rocking night that is the bodyshop awards.

With nominations already in for a majority of the categories, the hopefuls are currently being put through their paces as the rigorous and detailed process that is the winner's path has begun. Good luck to all involved.

17 May 2012 saw the second Honest John Awards, and the winners have been announced below. The Honest John Awards aren’t based on judges opinions, but on reader popularity.

Six out of 10 drivers would not change their existing vehicle for an electric vehicle

Leasing and fleet management company ALD Automotive surveyed 1,000 business drivers, revealing that over six out of ten would not make the switch.

And a very hearty, warm welcome it is too. Thursday night is all about the relaxing – Friday starts early so it's better to be in the Hilton Birmingham Metropole the night before so you can rise fresh and ready for the busy day ahead.

As our friend Chesney would say, 'Nobody I'd rather be.' Unlike Chesney, bodyshop are not stuck in 1991. Like a fine wine, our event seems to get better with age and this year's rock themed shindig can be considered the finest wine in the cellar.
